    Overnight Newborn Care

    • Professional overnight newborn care to ensure you are able to get the sleep you need all while your little one learns healthy sleep habits.
    • Your night nurse can assist with breastfeeding/pumping support, bottle-feeding support, all newborn care, education, support, and so much more!

    Newborn 101 Course

    • Everything you need to know in order to feel confident in caring for your baby. Virtual or in person (Philadelphia/South Jersey)
    • Topics include- feeding, burping, bathing, how to handle gas/constipation/ colic, diapering, swaddling, infant safety, and what to do if your little one gets sick.
    • This also makes a great baby shower gift!

    Postpartum Support​

    • Weekly check ins starting the day after you come home from the hospital for a period of 6 weeks.
    • This is a safe place for you to talk about any and all of your concerns/ questions regarding your physical, mental, and emotional health.
    • Postpartum depression and anxiety is not only very real…but very common and often misdiagnosed. As a nurse and soon to be Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner it is important to me that women have the necessary support.
    • Referrals and resources given out as needed.

    Sleep guidance

    • Ideal for babies 0-3 months
    • Includes one initial video/phone call and one followup call 2 weeks later.
    • Instilling healthy sleep habits and a flexible routine is vital for a successful first year and in preventing sleep training.
    • Together, we will discuss age appropriate schedules, bedtime routines, and what you can be doing to ensure your little one is on the right track to sleeping through the night.

    • Ideal for babies 3 months or older who are waking frequently through the night
    • Includes one initial video/phone call, a followup call 2 weeks later, and unlimited virtual support in between.
    • This is a 100% personalized approach expertly developed with your baby’s age, personality, and needs in mind.
    • Includes a personalized schedule and all of the tools and guidelines you need to maintain healthy sleep habits and get your little one sleeping through the night.

    New Parent Coaching- (Our most popular service!)​

    • This is an umbrella service that will cover practically all of the above services at a discounted rate! This is ideal for new parents who wish to become confident in caring for their little one and ensure they develop healthy sleep habits.
    • Includes an initial phone/video call, weekly check ins, and unlimited virtual support in between.
    • Choose from 6 weeks of support or 12 weeks of support (great for managing sleep regressions and schedule adjustments!)
  • After The Bump

    SCOPE OF PRACTICE
     

    Our main goal is to support you and your family in the postpartum period. We understand how difficult it can be adjusting to life with a new baby and are here to help ease the transition. Our goal is to help you enjoy the newborn phase rather than simply getting through it! Below, please find a list of what we provide you with during our in-home care. While we primarily serve South Jersey and Philadelphia areas, we do have night nurses available to travel!

    Feeding Support

    • Breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle-feeding support
      • Help mom master positions, when to switch sides, milk supply, nipple shields, proper milk transfer, and burping
      • Help guide mom with using a breast pump, when to use it, and how to clean pump parts 
      • Offer bottle-feeding and or combination feeding support 
      • Help guide mom with bottle feeds, positioning, and feeding schedule

    Care for Baby

    • Help with all newborn care including bathing, feeding, diapering, swaddling, cord care, soothing techniques
    • Instillation of healthy sleep habits and routines
    • Log feedings, diapers, and behavior through the night (i.e. sleepy, fussy, etc.) 
    • For breastfed babies: hold and burp baby after feedings and soothe baby back to sleep after each feeding after 15-30 minutes of upright time 
    • For bottle-fed babies: prepare bottles, comfort and soothe baby back to sleep after each feeding 

    Care for Mom

    • Support and advice on how to heal and care for yourself after delivery
    • Assessment and support for postpartum depression/anxiety
    • A constant, nonjudgemental support person during your postpartum period

    Your night nurse will be available to answer all of your questions, provide support and resources as needed

    Household Help

    Depending on the amount of hours booked your night nurse may be able to provide these additional services as well:

    • Kitchen tasks-wiping counters and stovetop, loading/unloading dishwasher, light cleaning of kitchen, preparing a simple meal or snacks for mom, putting coffee on in the morning 
    • Baby laundry 
    • Changing stations- restocking with diapers, wipes, burp cloths, clothing 
    • Nursery - organizing clothing and supplies, putting together baby equipment if needed
